Superintendent of Holt Public Schools

The Holt Public Schools Board of Education is seeking a dynamic and 
visionary educational leader to serve as its next Superintendent of 
Schools. Our current superintendent, Dr. David Hornak, plans to retire in 
December 2026 after more than three decades of dedicated service to 
the district; 11 of those years as superintendent. To ensure a smooth and 
thoughtful transition, the Board intends to hire its successor with an 
anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.

Salary & Contract Information:
The negotiated salary and benefits package will be 
commensurate with the chosen candidate’s 
experience and qualifications.

provide a detailed profile of the desired qualifications. The full
