| Notes | The Board of Education for Sand Creek Community Schools is in search of a new superintendent. Location - Sand Creek, Michigan is a welcoming rural community located in the heart of Lenawee County. Situated near M-52 and just a short drive from Adrian, Tecumseh, and Toledo, Sand Creek offers convenient access to larger employment, cultural, and shopping centers while preserving the peaceful character of small-town living. The area is known for its agricultural landscape, outdoor recreation, and strong community traditions. Nearby universities and colleges—including Adrian College and Jackson College—provide opportunities for partnerships, cultural enrichment, and expanded educational experiences. Families and community members take pride in the district’s close-knit atmosphere, local engagement, and deep-rooted support for their schools. District – Sand Creek Community Schools is a student-centered district committed to academic success, whole-child development, and strong community connections. The district serves approximately 740 students across two buildings: Ruth McGregor Elementary School and Sand Creek Jr./Sr. High School. As a smaller district, Sand Creek offers the benefits of close relationships, individualized attention, and a safe and supportive learning environment where every student is known by name. Salary and Contract Information The Board will offer a comprehensive, multi-year contract. Compensation will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate and requirements of the position. A salary range of $125,000 to $145,000 has been established.
