The Olivet Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent to begin work no later than July 1,
2026. The Board is assisted in the search by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB).
Olivet Community Schools serves communities in both Eaton and Calhoun counties in beautiful
mid-Michigan. University of Olivet (formerly Olivet College) is also located in Olivet. The district
serves 1197 students with a budget of $17,200,000 and is well known for providing an
outstanding academic achievement and well-rounded educational experience, including an
outstanding fine arts program, an award-winning Future Farmers of America (FFA) program, and
wide range of athletic programs. Olivet Community Schools is a “destination district” as many

community. The educational leader will actively work with the Board and community to set and
reach goals. The new Superintendent should be an instructional leader and a creative problem

Salary and Contract Information
The District will offer a competitive wage and benefit package (salary range $135,000 to
$159,000) that reflects the experience and education of the candidate chosen as the next Superintendent.
