The Board of Education for Stockbridge Community Schools is in search of a new superintendent. 

Location - Stockbridge, Michigan is a welcoming rural community located where Ingham, Livingston, Jackson, and Washtenaw Counties meet. Situated along M-52 and within easy driving distance of Lansing, Jackson, and Ann Arbor, Stockbridge offers convenient access to employment, higher education, and cultural amenities while maintaining its small-town charm. The community is known for its scenic farmland, outdoor recreation opportunities, and strong local traditions. Residents value the close-knit atmosphere, where schools serve as a central hub for community life. With nearby access to two Big Ten universities and other regional institutions, the area provides opportunities for educational partnerships, arts, and cultural experiences.

District – Stockbridge Community Schools is a student-focused district committed to academic achievement, personalized learning, and strong community connections. The district serves approximately 1130 students across three buildings: Smith Elementary School, Heritage Elementary School, and Stockbridge Jr./Sr. High School. As a mid-sized rural district, Stockbridge offers a balance of individualized attention and a variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities.

Salary and Contract Information

The Board will offer a comprehensive, multi-year contract. Compensation will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate and requirements of the position. A salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 has been established.
