Notes

The Oak Park Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent to begin work in July/August, 2026.
The Board is assisted in the search by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB).

Oak Park is located in suburban Oakland County, Michigan, just north of Detroit. The Oak Park
School District’s nearly 3,000 students are served at Einstein, Key and Pepper elementary schools
(grades K-5), Lessenger Early Childhood Center (GSRP - Early Kindergarten), the Oak Park
Preparatory Academy (grades 6-8), Oak Park High School (grades 9-12), and NOVA (grades 6-12).
The district boasts an abundance of educational and extra-curricular programs to meet the needs
of all learners. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves academically, explore
comprehensive course offerings and take risks to discover their individual gifts.

The Board of Education of Oak Park Schools seeks a superintendent who is a strong leader, has
strong financial skills, and will be an effective communicator with staff and community. The
educational leader will actively work with the Board and community to set and reach goals. The
new Superintendent should be an instructional leader and a creative problem solver. This
educational leader should be honest, ethical, and friendly.

Park Schools.
